Sixty (60) Turkish Warships have been Deployed in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean

Turkey has deployed 60 warships in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean and dozens of Turkish fighter jets took off during the day in a major show of Ankara military power while the Oruc Reis “sweeps” the Greek continental shelf.

According to sources from the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA) “Such mobilization hasn’t been recorded since last July”.

The Greek Staffs have issued orders for increased surveillance in view of tomorrow’s US elections and given the fact that the prevailing feeling based on the US polls about the election of T. Biden, will create a “power vacuum” in the US with what this implies for a Turkish movement in the Aegean and Thrace.

Specifically, about 8 frigates, 4 corvettes, 15 rocket launchers, 25 gunboats and patrols have been deployed. That is about half of the Turkish naval force.

The Turkish Minister of Defense, Hulusi Akar, speaking at the Turkish military academy, stated that he did not hesitate to threaten even France:

“Some countries, without taking into account their power, are trying to play roles in the eastern Mediterranean. These roads are dead ends. They come from thousands of miles away and they can not set rules for anyone here. ”

The Turkish Defense Minister even asked the students of the military academy to immerse themselves even more in the issue of NAVTEX, which is their “policy of sovereignty” that is now pursued in the eastern Mediterranean by Turkey.
