Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias telephoned Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoλουlu to express Greece’s solidarity and full support for the Turkish people and government, which is being hit by the quake.
N. Dendias also expressed the absolute readiness of our country to immediately meet the efforts of the Turkish authorities to provide all necessary assistance to the victims.
In addition, he contacted the Minister of Civil Protection, Michalis Chrysochoidis, with whom he agreed that EMAK staff will be ready to go to Turkey, if deemed appropriate.
